Magnolia is a beautiful flowering evergreen tree that is stately in appearance and breathtakingly beautiful when in bloom. It is symbolic of the Deep South and adds dramatic qualities to a landscape. Magnolia trees flower from May to July with very showy, fragrant blooms.
Cultivation: Prefers well-drained soil rich in humus. Pruning is generally unnecessary. They are medium to fast growing and light shade is ideal.
